Digital Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us.  Please see the following Digital Privacy Policy to explain how the Bank of Eufaula collects, shares, uses, and protects your information when you visit or use any of our digital services.  This policy covers our digital platforms including our website and mobile applications, with or without a login requirement.  You do not have to be a Bank customer for this Digital Privacy Policy to apply to you, and if you are a customer, please request a copy of our Privacy Policy given to you at the time of your account opening for details on how we share your customer information.  If you would like a physical copy of this policy or our consumer Privacy Policy, please contact us and we would be happy to provide a printed copy.

Security:

We incorporate many strategies to protect and limit unauthorized access to your personal information.  However, we need your help in protecting your information as well.  As we cannot protect data you submit to us electronically during transmission, we do not advise you send secure or confidential information to use electronically (such as your Social Security Number).

Intended Audience:

We intend for our website, digital banking applications, and any digital services we provide to be for those over the age of 13.  We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent, or provided directly from the parent, and we request that children under the age of 13 do not use our online services or provide any Personal Information to us.

Information We Collect:

When you visit or use our online platforms, we may collect personal information from or about you regardless if you access login-required areas or not. 

Personal Information: 

We will collect your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number(s), account numbers, physical address (if different), user name, password, and some limited location information during your interactions with our platform.  We may also require other personal information be provided during the processing of your application for digital banking services to allow us to verify the authorization for you to access banking information.  We do not provide any of this information to any third-party for solicitation purposes. 

In some cases, we collect information without you needing to provide it.  Examples of this information include IP address, geographic location, the type of operating system and browser used, information about the pages within the site you have visited, and interactions you may have had that led you to the site.  This information may be collected via cookies or other technologies.  We may later associate the usage and other information we collect online with personal information (i.e. login information) about you in order to assist us better in keeping your account secure or better service your banking needs.

Legal Requests:

We do not provide any information collected through these sites to any third-party, with the exception of those contracted through us to provide you these services, and do not provide the information to anyone for solicitation purposes.  If we receive a verified and valid legal request to provide the data, we will comply with the request in accordance with the law.

Disclosure of Information:

We may, in some instances, share the information we collect from you with authorized third-party service providers who assist us in providing your banking services.  The third-party service providers authorized by us are not authorized to contact you or provide your information to any other third-party. 

We do not provide your information to any third-party for solicitation purposes.  We may use the information you provide in order to provide advertisements for our own products that might be more relevant to you. 

Any elections you have made to limit the sharing of your information in accordance with our consumer Privacy Policy are held in conjunction with this Digital Privacy Policy.

Other Sites:

On our site, we do have some links to websites outside of our control.  Therefore, we are not responsible for the content of those sites or the tracking of your information while you are visiting those sites.  We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy of those individual sites to determine how they are using your information.  We also encourage you to use caution when providing personal or confidential information on those sites to ensure you are providing it to the intended party.  We are not liable for any information or interactions you have with any external links, even if we provide the reference on our own site.

Changes to the Digital Privacy Policy:

We may occasionally update this policy as we update practices, regulations require the changes, or any business instance requires it.  This policy is in effect from the date it is updated as indicated above until a successor policy is published.  If you wish to have a copy of a previous version of the policy, we would be happy to provide one to you upon request.
