FAQ

Are my deposit accounts FDIC insured?

Yes! Each individual customer's account is insured by the FDIC up to at least $250,000 per account.

How do I set up Direct Deposit of my payroll check?

After you have opened your checking account, you will receive our routing number and your account number.  If your employer participates in a direct deposit program, simply provide the information to your payroll department and your direct deposit will begin according to their processes.  If you need a cancelled check or account number verification, we would be happy to assist you with this.

Can I get information about my account by phone?

Yes! Account information is available by phone during Main Bank hours.  For security purposes, we may ask you to assist in verifying your identity and we cannot provide your account number by phone for security reasons.

Is interest paid on my checking account?

We do offer checking accounts that can earn interest.  Let us know if you want more information on our Money Market, NOW, or Super NOW accounts.

Can I do all of my banking with you?

Yes! Thanks to the convenience of our mobile app, online banking, direct deposit, and debit cards, everyday banking activities can be performed on your own time.  We are always looking to help find a solution for your banking needs – contact us if you have a specific need we can help you solve.

Can I look at all of my transactions at any time?

With online banking, transactions are at your fingertips.  Current month transactions can be found under the “View Account Details” summary. Previous months statements can be viewed under the” View Statements and Notices” tab found under the “Account Summary Options".  If information you need is older than what is available in online banking, please contact us and we can help you retrieve it.

How frequently is my information updated?

Your account information is updated every business day with new transactions that posted to your account the previous day.

Are wire transfers possible to and from my checking account?

Yes! Funds can be transferred to and from accounts by wire transfer or via ACH (Automated Clearing House) debits or credits. Contact us for instructions.

How do I make a deposit to my account from a remote location?

We are now happy to offer Remote Deposit Capture to you via our Mobile App.  Additionally, ACH and direct deposit transactions are also very helpful for those who are not always in our area.  We even take deposits by mail!  Contact us for details on a method that is best for your situation.

When do I have access to use Internet Banking?

With Online Banking, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Or you can go to your favorite app store and search for Bank of Eufaula and download our app. It will say Bank of Eufaula as the developer.

Can I make changes to my accounts or login?

If you wish to make a change to your login or accounts, please contact us. Username and password information may be deleted upon request. Information such as your usage history, account information, and banking activity will be retained in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
